Little did I know…
The last night in London, all we had to do was turn right Thursday night out of the hotel past Picadilly Circus to London’s Leicester Square as opposed to left to go to dinner and we could have run into the middle of the Royal premiere of Tim Burton’s 3-D adventure, Alice in Wonderland. In attendance were not only stars, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and Mia Wasikowska (Alice) but also a little royalty with Prince Charles and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall.
Other stars that we were “that close” to and missed, if we would have just turned right, were the great Alan Rickman and Paul Whitehouse. Another British icon Stephen Fry is in the film, but not sure if he was there Thursday.
A plea to anyone that reads this, next time, someone (anyone) tell me to head towards the crowd, the noise and lights if given the opportunity.
FYI, the film opens nationwide Friday, March 5th. Can’t wait.
