Celebrate life, the universe and everything in 2012

Sunday, 11 March, 2012 is the day to celebrate the man who gave us life, the universe and everything. The Apollo Hammersmith in London (Planet Earth) is the place to be for the birthday party of all birthday parties. Greats from the world of science, comedy and music will come together for an evening of entertainment to virtually celebrate what would have been Douglas Adams’ 60th birthday.

Professor Brian Cox, Robin Ince and Jon Culshaw will, appropriately, discuss life, the universe and everything, Clive Anderson, Terry Jones and Michael Palin will talk Adams’ comedy legacy and his influences, including Monty Python, while John Lloyd, Stephen Mangan and Sanjeev Bhaskar will ponder The Meaning of Liff. How about music from the band that played at many of Adams’ infamous parties, including members of Paul McCartney’s band?

The event of a lifetime is presented by family and friends of Douglas Adams and Save the Rhino International. Check it out. All the cool kids will be there. Until then, 42.
